Setting up a hyperbaric clinic

What equipment you need to open a hyperbaric clinic, how to choose between single-person and multiplace chambers, and how CONSIDER supports turnkey, branded setups.

Opening a hyperbaric clinic is as much a space-and-throughput decision as an equipment one. Get the chamber choice right and the room earns its keep. This guide covers how to plan the equipment side, from chamber selection to branding and support. For the models themselves, see chambers for clinics.

Start with throughput and space

Your expected demand and room size drive the core decision: a single-person chamber or a multiplace system. A multiplace chamber treats several clients in one session, dramatically increasing how many people you can serve per day in the same room. Our monoplace vs multiplace guide runs through the trade-offs.

Core equipment checklist

A clinic chamber should arrive as a complete, professional system. At minimum, look for:

  • Integrated oxygen delivery (up to ~93%) and life-support unit
  • Dual internal and external control panels
  • Two-way intercom for operator–user communication
  • Climate control and air management for long sessions
  • Redundant safety systems and emergency depressurization

CONSIDER hard-shell systems ship with these built in. The COHB20 adds CO2 management and modular seating for shared sessions, while the COHT20 suits a boutique single-room setup.

Room, power and installation

Hard-shell chambers are wheeled into position and professionally commissioned. Plan for the chamber footprint plus operator space, power and ventilation. Remote installation guidance, commissioning and operator training are included so your team is confident from day one. Shipping and lead times are covered in importing hyperbaric chambers.

Branding and patient experience

OEM branding, custom chamber and cover colors and multilingual controls let the installation carry your name and suit your clientele. A bright, comfortable cabin with clear viewing windows reassures first-time clients. Our OEM & ODM guide explains what can be customized.
